The Ladies Guild of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park will hold their Annual Rummage and Bake Sale this Friday and Saturday in the Grogan Center from 8 AM to 2 PM.

A Strides for Seniors Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, February 4th at Highlands Hammock State Park at 8 AM. For more information call 385-8448.

The Sebring Noon Rotary will hold a BBQ benefiting the SFCC Baseball and Softball Teams on Saturday, February 4th from 11 AM to 4 PM. Tickets are $8.00 can be purchased from any SFCC athlete or by calling 784-7036.

The Lake Placid Athletic Association is hosting its first "Lets Dance" on Saturday, February 4th starting at 8 PM at the Elks Club in Lake Placid. Enjoy entertainment by JAM Inc. The Children's Academy of Theatre, Inc will start Session 1 February 7th thru March 22nd with classes for students K-5th Grade. The City of Wauchula will be hosting a guided tour of Peace River Park. The tour is open to the public and will be free of charge. Sturdy walking shoes, sunscreen and water are recommended. The tour will start at 9 AM on Wednesday, February 8th. For more information call 863-773-9193.

Main Street Bartow, Inc.'s next Concert in the Park will be on Thursday, February 9th from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, in Fort Blount Park. Concert in the Park is held the 2nd Thursday of each month from October through March. For more information call 863-519-0508.

The Highlands Shrine Club welcomes country music nights. The Country Grass Band and the Fiddle & Pickin' Band will alternate every Thursday through February and March from 6 to 8 PM. The Avon Park Depot Museum is open 10 AM to 3 PM on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The museum will also be open the first Saturday of each month. For more information call 453-3525.

Drive-In or Fly-In Pancake Breakfast is held every 2nd Saturday monthly at Sebring Regional Airport. The cost is $5.00 and proceeds benefit Young Eagles and Amvets. For more information call 655-6444.

The Highlands Shrine Club will serve breakfast on Saturday from 8 to 10 AM. Breakfast is $4.00 and includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, orange juice and more. The stores will also be open. The Highlands Shrine Club is located at 2604 State Road 17 South.
