WWOJ, WWLL, WWTK, WJCM, WITS OUTREACH EFFORTS

WWOJ, WWLL, WWTK, WJCM, WITS (the "Stations") completed the following outreach activities during this time period

 1. Training. The Stations' sales staff received training that helped them acquire skills that could qualify them for higher level positions, including sales manager and general manager.

2. Internship. The Stations maintained a paid internship with a student from Avon Park High School. The internship program is designed to expose to all aspects of radio broadcasting. Specific job responsibilities vary depending on our needs but always include production work.

3. Activity Designed to Disseminate Information on Broadcast Employment Opportunities. In June of 2006, the Stations participated in Lake Placid High School's Shadow Program. Several students visited the Stations and "shadowed" the employees of their choice for two hours each.

4. Job Fair. The President of Cohan Radio Group participated in a Job Fair at South Florida Community College in April 2006. He spoke with students about internship opportunities and careers in broadcasting.
