Downtown Sebring Merchants will host Throwback Thursday every Thursday with lots of stores open late, music and fun. For more information and events visit www.DowntownSebring.org

Trick or Treating on and around the Circle in Sebring will be held on Thursday, October 30th from 5 to 8 PM with stores open late, music, candy games and much more.

The Humane Society of Highlands County presents Terror Trail's "Carnevil"  Friday, October 31st and Saturday, November 1st. The ticket booth will be open 7:30 to 10 PM. For more information follow Terror Trail on Facebook.

Sebring and Lake Placid Trick or Treat will be on Friday, October 31st from 6 to 9 PM.

The Sebring High Cheerleaders are selling beautiful Winter Rose Poinsettia's for $10.00 each through October 30th. Plants will be delivered on December 3rd. For more information see any Sebring High School Cheerleader or call Sebring High School at 471-5500.

The Lake Placid community and businesses will hold a Lake Placid Halloween Event on Friday, October 31st from 6 to 9 PM on Interlake and Main Avenue. Come and enjoy a family friendly fun night.

The Highlands Art League's 48th Annual Fine Arts and Crafts Festival will be held on and around the Circle in Sebring on Saturday, November 1st from 9 AM to 4 PM. Come and see the finest arts and crafts, enjoy fun festivities and much more. For more information visit www.DowntownSebring.org

Sun N Lake Recreation presents the Trick or Trot Festival and "Glow" Run on Saturday, November 1st with the festival from 3:30 to 6:30 PM and the "glow" run from 6:30 to 9:30 PM. Festival admission is $2.00. The "glow" run is $20.00 for adults and $12.00 for kids. Come and enjoy the costume parade, inflatables, face painting, crafts, entertainment, the "glow" 5K and much more. The Sun N Lake Recreation Complex is located at 3500 Edgewater Drive. Cracker Trail Elementary will hold a Cowboys and Cowgirls Trailblazer 4K on Saturday, November 8th at 8 AM. Proceeds will benefit developing student leadership programs. The school is located at 8200 Sparta Road in Sebring.

The CCC Celebration Festival will be held at Highlands Hammock State Park on Saturday, November 8th from 10 AM to 4 PM. Come and celebrate history with live bands, model railroad display, Florida Highwaymen Artists, arts and crafts, food and drink vendors, children's activities and much more.

St. Agnes Episcopal Church presents their Annual Spaghetti Dinner on Thursday, November 13th from 4:30 to 6:30 PM at the church on Lakeview Drive. Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids under 12.

The American Legion Post #69 of Avon Park will hold their Annual Bazaar on Saturday, November 15th from 8 AM to 2 PM at 1301 West Bell Street. Donations will be accepted November 12th through 15th.
