Downtown Sebring Merchants will host Throwback Thursday every Thursday with lots of stores open late, music and fun. For more information and events visit www.DowntownSebring.org

The Humane Society of Highlands County presents Terror Trail's "Carnevil" every Friday and Saturday throughout the month of October and Saturday, November 1st. The ticket booth will be open 7:30 to 10 PM. For more information follow Terror Trail on Facebook.

Highlands Hammock State Park presents Haunted Hammock on October 24th and 25th. Come join the kid-friendly no scare area for Little Goblins from 5:30 to 7 PM or the Haunted House and Trams for youth and adults. The Arc's Halloween 5K/10K Run-Walk will be held on Saturday, October 25th at 8:30 AM at Highlands Hammock State Park. All proceeds will benefit the Ridge Area Arc. For more information call 452-1295 ext. 112.

The American Legion Riders Post 74 invites you to Cruisin' to a Cure Poker Run on October 25th with sign up and breakfast at the American Legion Post 69 on West Bell Street from 8 to 10 AM. Last bike in at 4 PM at the Avon Park Mall Festival. For more information call 863-873-3497.

Crossroads Fellowship will host a Fall Festival on Saturday, October 25th from 2 to 5 PM. Come and enjoy games, chili cook-off, costume contest, raffles, silent auction and more. A Thrill the World zombie event and Fundraiser will be held at SFSC on Saturday, October 25th from 4 to 6 PM at the SFSC Theatre for the Performing Arts. Join SFSC Performing Arts Club to break a World Record with this global "Thriller" event. Zombies of all ages are welcome. Zombie registration is $5.00 or FREE for all SFSC Students. A FUN Family Falloween presented by the Sebring Church of the Brethren will be held on Saturday, October 25th from 4:30 to 6:30 PM with fun for children all ages. Sun N Lake Recreation presents the Trick or Trot Festival and "Glow" Run on Saturday, November 1st with the festival from 3:30 to 6:30 PM and the "glow" run from 6:30 to 9:30 PM. Festival admission is $2.00. The "glow" run is $20.00 for adults and $12.00 for kids.
