A Lake Life Home Show will be held on Saturday, August 27th from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Bert J Harris Ag Center. Admission is free. The Show includes over 50 vendors of watercraft, home decor, outdoor living accessories and much more. The Ag Center is located at 4509 George Boulevard in Sebring. Seniors and people with disabilities can flaunt their talent on stage for prize money during the second annual Special STARS Got Talent Show in Sunday, August 28th from 1 to 5 PM at the Highlands County Agri-Civic Center. The Heartlands LakeSharks Parrot Head Club will hold their August "Phlocking" on Sunday, August 28th from 3 to 6 PM at Nash's 19. If you enjoy Jimmy Buffet and the Tropical Lifestyle, this party is for you! Come and enjoy music by Claire Petrie, 50/50 raffle and trivia. Admission is free with a donation of non-perishable food items, toiletries, sheets, blankets or children's clothing to be donated to local charities. The American Legion Post 25 presents the Amusing Magic and Amazing Music of DJ Magic Mike on Saturday, September 3rd. This event is open to the public and includes spaghetti dinner 4:30 to 6 PM, magic from 6 to 7 PM and dancing starting at 7 PM. Tickets are $6.00.
